The colour of the wine is purple and slightly violet. The smell is complex: marmalade of red fruit, more blackcurrant than cherries, powerful tannin which smoothes out with time, and is interesting by its sweet flavour. The Bordeaux wine growing region in 2005 promises a grand vintage which you will progressively discover and will, without doubt, have excellent conservation qualities. The 2005 Coutelor La Romarine is ready to be savoured, and will continue to unveil it’s talents as a grand Sainte-Foy Bordeaux. Bottled for the first time in 2007, this wine has a more than promising future.
